Exclusive initiative follows the consumption trend of these nectars in the summer
The Alentejo Wine Route (Rua 5 de Outubro, nº 88) launches an exclusive workshop specializing in white and rosé wines. The initiative, which responds to the trend of increased consumption of these nectars in the summer, will take place next Thursday, the 10th of June, between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm and all interested parties are invited to dive into a tasting of six Alentejo wines, accompanied by typical regional delicacies.
The initiative, signed by the Alentejo Regional Wine Commission (CVRA), will count on the presence of producers from three distinct Alentejo sub-regions – the Agricultural Society of Torre de Curvo Herdade (Monforte), the Monte Branco winery (Estremoz). ) and Monte da Comenda Grande (Évora) – to make known the production method and variety of white and rosé wines produced in Alentejo.
“The Alentejo Wine Route aims to be a driving force behind the region's dynamism and contribute to raising awareness and recognizing the diversity of wines produced here. Alentejo wines are, in fact, unique by nature!” explains Francisco Mateus, president of the Alentejo Regional Wine Commission.
The exclusive and in-person event has limited entry to 12 people and registration can be made online.
The workshop on white and rosé wines is the second of multiples that CVRA is organizing for 2021 with the aim of making known all eight sub-regions of Alentejo and exploring the wine richness of the region.
