On October 2nd (Saturday), the Alentejo Regional Winegrowing Commission (CVRA) promises a memorable end of the afternoon with the event “Alqueva Sunset”.
At 6 pm it's time to board the boat reserved for the party at Amieira Marina (7220-999, Portel), where sushi, music and, of course, Alentejo wine tastings will take place. The “Alqueva Sunset” will bring together tourists, producers and winemakers on board to enjoy the sunset in what is also one of the great tourist attractions in Alentejo, the Alqueva, and give a taste of the Herdade dos Medeiros, Quinta do Paral, Herdade wines da Calada, Adega Cooperativa de Redondo, Adega Cooperativa da Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito and Adega do Montado.
Japanese cuisine, signed by chef Kenzo, will be served to the sound of DJ Bruno Silva, who promises guaranteed entertainment until 9 pm, when the vessel returns to Amieira Marina. As an event limited to the boat's capacity, all those wishing to embark on the largest artificial lake in Europe must contact CVRA and guarantee registration, and the first 50 subscribers are also offered travel from Évora (Avenida Doutor Francisco Barahona, next to the Hotel D. Fernando) to Amieira Marina.
“ALQUEVA SUNSET” TICKET: €30 p.p. (includes boat trip, wine tasting and sushi served during the party)
