Created in 2013 by the Brazilian Chef Eduardo Maya, the "Aproxima Project" (
www.projetoaproxima.com.br) aims to bring together the best of Minas Gerais products with chefs and the general public. All to recover the appreciation of the gastronomic culture of Minas Gerais, one of the richest in Brazil.

This event, of itinerant origin and monthly periodicity, takes place in streets, markets, points of interest and squares of Belo Horizonte and attracts thousands of people.
The Wines of Alentejo will be exclusive partners of this fair, where there will be about 20 participating venues of Minas Gerais gastronomy in this monthly edition of "Feirinha Aproxima", and each producer will also have space for sale / promotion of their wines.
There will also be a dynamization in the amphitheater of the Market, a set of activities related to the Alentejo Wines - lectures and thematic events, counting on the presence of wines from the region and with the guidance of wine and gastronomy critics Alexandre Lalas, Miguel Icassatti and Eduardo Maya.
This initiative is organized by the Alentejo Regional Wine Commission (CVRA), with the production of EV-Essência do Vinho.
