Less than two weeks away from the Baja TT Alentejo Harvest to be held on February 7, 8 and 9, in Lowere Alentejo and which will be organized by the Karting and Motorsport Promotion Club, the event already has more of 150 drivers registered in the various categories, with particular emphasis on cars that account for more than 50 competitors.

At a time when there are only eight days until the closing of registration, which closes on January 31st, the organizers already have everything ready for the opening race of the 2020 season, which will also be the inauguration of the championships all-o- ground. For the Portuguese Federation of Automobilism and Karting, this will be the first race of the year for the Portugal All-Terrain Championship AM | 48, while for the Portuguese Motorcycle Federation the Portuguese Cup will be held.

The president of CPKA, Humberto Silva, believes that it will be a test of great competitive and innovative level:

“We were able to meet all the conditions to carry out this race in Beja. We are certain that we have put together a competent race to the taste of everyone who is registered for the race and we are very satisfied with all the collaboration that SAR is giving us… and we hope, above all, that it will be a good sporting and promotional show for the councils from Beja, Mértola, Castro Verde and Aljustrel, as well as from the all-terrain. However, we have a novelty, since the Prologue will be broadcast live via live streaming on Saturday morning, February 8th. And so, everyone is now invited to attend this great event, whether on the ground or even at home ... ”, revealed the organizer of Baja TT  Alentejo Harvest .

In addition to the sports component, Baja TT  Alentejo Harvest  will also have a solidarity aspect. Thus, on the 7th, 8th and 9th of February, CPKA will raise and promote among teams, pilots, sponsors, official entities and the general public, that food items be purchased to be donated directly to “Caritas de Beja, which dedicates daily to feed about 250 most needy people in the municipality of Beja ”.
