Chef José Vintém showcooks ideal menu to pair with Wines of Alentejo
The second episode of the initiative “Duets: Wines and Delicassis from Alentejo” will be broadcast this Thursday, October 22, at 12:30 pm.

In the second episode of the event that started last October 15th, the president of the Alentejo Regional Winegrowing Commission (CVRA), Francisco Mateus will be talking to the renowned chef José Vintém while making a dish to pair with Tapada dos Chaves white, Old Vines 2008.

The chef from Portalegre, known for his dedication to the typical dishes of the region, will be discussing, while preparing a menu with regional and seasonal products, the wine potential of the Alentejo region. This live broadcast is the second of three that integrate the unprecedented initiative “Duets: Wines and Delicassis from Alentejo” created from the need to support local members, taking into account the current pandemic situation.

  • October 22, at 12:30 pm | Francisco Mateus (president of CVRA) and chef José Vintém talk about the wine potential of the Alentejo region.
 
  • October 29, at 18h15 | Pedro Verdial (responsible for the management of CVRA's social networks) and the conventual pastry chef Fernando Correia, discuss the new space of the Alentejo Wine Route, as well as wine tourism in the region.
