Fish asks for white wine and with meat is it mandatory to serve red wine? These and other doubts will be clarified in the initiative open to all wine enthusiasts.
Crossing wine and gastronomy is one of the great doubts of consumers and one of the main challenges of restoration. To clarify all the questions and put an end to the myths, the Alentejo Wine Route (R. Cinco de Outubro nº 88, 7000-854 Évora) will host the course “Harmonization – wine and food”, which takes place on the 24th September, Saturday, between 10 am and 6 pm.
The initiative, whose registration has just opened, counts on Tiago Paula, chairman of the board of the Associação dos Escanções de Portugal, as a cicerone.
From the importance of the temperature of food and nectars, to the right choice of glass, through the influence of gastronomy in the choice of wine, this initiative, whose participation costs €35 per person, promises to leave no doubts between wine and food concerns.
During the entire session, participants are also challenged to tests and tastings that will allow them to assess how individual taste influences each of the elements addressed.
Registration for the event, which is limited to 15 places, can be guaranteed through
this link, until the deadline of 22 September.
