On November 11th, the day of Saint Martin, the Herdade do Rocim presents an event of opening of carvings of the harvest of 2018. It will be between the 14h00 and the 19h00 that all together we will celebrate one of the great traditions of the Alentejo - The Wine of Talha

On November 11 between, a wine tasting will be held accompanied by good music and gastronomy moments. The day of Saint Martin is the day in which, traditionally, the carvings are opened, is the highest moment in the millennial relation between the Alentejo and the Talha wine.
 
Today, the Alentejo has a national and international reputation; this is due not only to the uniqueness of their territory, but also to the authenticity, quality and trust consumers have in their products.
 
In Portugal, the Alentejo has been the great guardian of talha wines and, over time, the technique of making wine in carvings has been passed on from generation to generation. Following the more classic processes or adopting some modernization, the talha wine remains as a unique product, sublime representative of the ancient wine culture in the Alentejo.
