Rock in Rio Festival with Wines of Alentejo happy hour
The 2017 edition of Rock in Rio - considered one of the main music festivals in the world - will receive a typical Alentejo experience.
During all the days of the festival, the Alentejo Regional Winegrowing Commission (CVRA), which certifies and promotes the wines of the region, will host a daily exclusive happy hour with wines from the Alentejo region at the Turismo de Portugal lounge.
Between wine tastings the public will have the opportunity to also know the electric cable car "Prazeres 28", one of the great cultural icons of Lisbon, that will be open to the visitation in the Tourism of Portugal lounge in the City of Rock during every day of the festival (15 to 17 and 21 to 24 of September).
Those who take the cable car can participate in various activities to get to know the country, recognized worldwide as one of the best tourist destinations of the moment.
"The Brazilian public has become a great appreciator of Alentejo wines. According to our latest survey, imports have increased by more than 20%. Our goal through these actions is to reinforce the renown of our wines in the country that ranks second in the ranking of exports of certified wine to the table of Brazilians, "says Maria Amélia Vaz da Silva, from the CVRA's Marketing Department.
