The City of Beja will host the 14th edition of VINIPAX from September 30 to October 2, 2022, at the Parque de Feiras e Exposições de Beja – Manuel Castro e Brito.

After two years of interruption due to the pandemic, VINIPAX returns with the ambition of continuing to be, as since its 1st Edition, in 2007, the most important Wine Fair in the South of Portugal, which will continue to count on the Technical Management by Aníbal José Coutinho.

VINIPAX is a fair that showcases the culture of Vinhos do Sul, with a special focus on the regions of Alentejo, Algarve, Peninsula de Setúbal and Tejo. In these regions, the Mediterranean influence is more evident, with similarities in terms of grape varieties and cultural methods, allied to modern technology, contributing to the production of sweet, mature, expressive wines with a wide spectrum of tasting, which mark the identity of the Wines of the South.

The event has a space for the promotion and dissemination of gastronomy, SUL À MESA, which will have a live cooking area and a restaurant area for wine tourism where harmonization tastings or other initiatives can be held.

VINIPAX is a Festival that aims to continue to be the reference showcase for wines in this important wine-growing region. It is expected, as in previous editions, a strong influx of public and economic agents in the restaurant sector, also given the fact that admission is free.
