The Wines of Alentejo, through it's Wine Route, have confirmed their presence at the 38th edition of FITUR, the most important tourism fair in the Iberian Peninsula, to be held in Madrid from 17 to 21 January.
In parternership with the Alentejo Wine Route, there will be: Adega Mayor, Casa Agrícola Alexandre Relvas, Herdade das Cortiçadas, João Portugal Ramos Vinhos, Monte da Ravasqueira, Quinta do Quetzal - Family Estate and Torre de Palma Wine Hotel.
During the event, and as a way to liven up and encourage the visits to the Wine Route stand, a competition was created where the 3 winners can be awarded 1 weekend vouchers for two people in some of the dream destinations of the region. To qualify to win these fantastic prizes simply:
- Take an original / creative photograph at the Alentejo Wine Route stand at FITUR (in order to be noticeably in said place);
- Publish to your personal Facebook or Instagram account with the
hashtag #alentejonafitur.
Check here the
regulation of the competition.
This participation results from a joint collaboration between the CVRA - Alentejo Regional Wine Commission, ARPTA - Regional Agency for Tourism Promotion of Alentejo and winemaking units of the Alentejo, counting on the support of Tourism of Portugal, the main objective being the affirmation of the Alentejo as an international enotouristic destination of excellence.
Like last year, FITUR will have an area dedicated to wine tourism, with the 2018 edition being more comprehensive, internationally: Wine Tourism Around the World, where Alentejo, present in a stand of more than 300m2, will be in 2018 the International Enotouristic Destination of FITUR.
The central objective of the event will be to take advantage of the interest of potential visitors and national and foreign tourists to the wine and wine industry in the Alentejo region, seeking to interest them also in other aspects of regional cultural and tourist reality, such as its architectural heritage, crafts, tourism and cultural animation, gastronomy, its people and its people.
