The Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito Cooperative Winery (ACVCA) celebrates, in November, its event, already traditional and Adega brand, the Month of Wine. These are a set of events that take place during the month, which are directly or indirectly related to the new wine festival, a celebration strongly associated with S. Martinho.

According to José Miguel Almeida, president of ACVCA, “it is a question of continuing a very lively tradition in our region, that is, to associate S. Martinho with wine production, and in our case with Talha Wine. We intend to continue to unite wine with gastronomy, with the novelty of a classical music concert, and to give public expression to certified wine, that is, with the seal of CVRA ».

In 2019 the "Wine Month" begins on Saturday, the 9th, at 17h00, with the Opening of the Talhas, and tasting of the new wine 2019 Talha. Will be present the Coral Group of the Cellar in addition to other invited groups such as Os Vindimadores, Singers Group of the Head of the Devil, and the Choir Group of Vidigueira. At the end of the day the Improvisos do Sul will perform.

A week later, at 9 pm on November 16, and in collaboration with the Baixo Alentejo Regional Conservatory, the winery organizes its first S. Martinho Concert. A violin and guitar duo will delight the assistants with plays by Piazzola, Bartok and Paganini.

On November 23, and at Casa das Talhas, will take place from 19:30 another one of the celebrated wine dinners, where special dishes can be enjoyed in harmony with the wines of the winery.

The activities of the month of Wine have their epilogue on November 30 with the event TALHA DOC. It is a sample and tasting of Talha Wines, all certified by the Alentejo Regional Wine Commission.
