Wines of Alentejo present their Sustainability Program in Brazil
The Alentejo Regional Winegrowing Commission (CVRA) will present the Wines of Alentejo Sustainability Program (WASP) to what is the main international market for the region. The initiative is scheduled for next Wednesday, October 7, at 7 pm, on CVRA's online platforms.
The event will include sommeliers and prominent opinion leaders in the South American market, such as Gustavo Pádua, Manoel Beato, Susana Bareli, Ricardo Castillo and Juliana Ventura, as well as representatives of some of the largest media in Brazil, which will have the opportunity to get to know the Program that aims to place environmental, social and economic sustainability at the center of wine production.
João Barroso, coordinator of WASP, Sandra Alves, oenologist at Quinta do Esporão, Alexandre Relvas, administrator of Casa Relvas and Pedro Baptista, vice president of Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, will host the event exclusively organized for the Brazilian market, which he occupies already the first place in the destinations that most import Alentejo wine.
Francisco Mateus believes that the sustainable production label to be presented will also contribute to an even greater increase in Alentejo wine exports to Brazil.
