“Wines of Alentejo in Lisbon” grand return this friday
The tasting will include 450 wines from more than 70 Alentejo producers

The 12th edition of “Vinhos do Alentejo em Lisboa” starts this Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19, at the CCB – Centro Cultural de Belém. In the two days of the event, wine lovers and the curious will have the opportunity to taste more than 450 Alentejo references from 71 producers in the region.

The doors of “Vinhos do Alentejo em Lisboa” open at 4 pm on Friday, and the event lasts until 9 pm. On the following day, Saturday, the opening hours are extended, from 3 pm to 9 pm so that everyone has the opportunity to learn about the region's news.

The exhibition, organized by the Alentejo Regional Winegrowing Commission (CVRA), will feature, on the two days of the event, at 18:00, with a workshop on the Alentejo Wines Sustainability Program (WASP), led by João Barroso, coordinator of the initiative pioneer in Portugal.

In addition to this moment that toasts a greener planet, on Friday, at 7:30 pm, visitors will be able to attend a session on organic wine. On Saturday, participants in the event can learn more about the emblematic Vinho de Talha, in a session scheduled for 7:30 pm and, in addition to a Food pairing session, under the theme “Desserts and wine”.

To access the tasting of the 450 red, white and rosé wines there is a cost of 10 euros per person, with a glass included.
