The CVRA organized "Masterclass" of Alentejo Wines in the United States, in which Master Sommelier Evan Goldstein presented the Alentejo region, showing off its unique character.

The Wines of Alentejo travelled to Seattle and Los Angeles for two sessions that were attended by 140 professionals from the North American wine sector. The "talha" wine, the 8 demarcated sub-regions, the indigenous grapesand the biodiversity were some of the most discussed topics.

The events were a success, with a great affluence and a strong interest in the wines of the Alentejo region. Thus, the objective of strengthening awareness and deepening the knowledge of Alentejo wines was achieved, leaving clear prospects for the wines of the region in the North American market.
