Wines of Alentejo present at the largest Portuguese wine event in Brazil
The fifth edition of Vinhos de Portugal at CasaShopping, from June 1 to 3 in Rio de Janeiro will feature harmonies, tastings, courses and tests, and the program promises to attract amateurs interested in Portuguese wines.
One of the most interesting attractions is the Wine Market, where participants can talk to the 79 producers and taste some of the 600 labels available. Various regions of Portugal will be represented, such as Alentejo, Douro, Setúbal and Tejo Peninsula.
The field of tests, courses and harmonization will be led by renowned critics, including tests conducted by Dirceu Vianna Júnior, the only Brazilian Master of Wine.
The Wines of Portugal is organized by the newspapers O GLOBO, "Público" and "Valor Econômico" and the "Época" magazine, with the partnership of Vinhos de Portugal, sponsorship of CasaShopping, Pão de Açúcar and Construtora Canopus, Centro de Portugal, the Douro and Porto Wine Institute, the Alentejo Regional Wine Commission and the Dão region, AGO Mercedes, Volvo AB Gotland and TAP.
Following the molds of the event in Barra da Tijuca, also on June 8, 9 and 10, there will be 84 producers that will be present this year in São Paulo, at JK Iguatemi Mall, for the second edition of the event in that city, with a a record number of producers that reflects the great bet that is being made in São Paulo and the importance of the city for the export market of Portuguese wine, and also Alentejo in particular.
