Brazil will welcomr the Wines of Alentejo again. Next September, there are grand tastings directed at opinion leaders, hotel and restaurant professionals and wine lovers. Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and São Paulo are the big stages. At the same time, a new edition of the competition "The Best Sommelier Wines of Alentejo in Brazil" will be held, which will run through the cities of Brasília, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and São Paulo.
The most recent Alentejo vintages and those very memorable labels will be presented by more than 20 producers: Adega de Borba, Adega de Redondo, Cartuxa - Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, Companhia das Quintas - Herdade da Farizoa, Cortes de Cima, Dona Maria - Júlio Bastos , Encostas de Alqueva, Esporão, Herdade da Malhadinha Nova, Herdade do Mouchão, Herdade do Rocim, Herdade Grande Wines, Herdade São Miguel, Casa Agrícola HMR, J. Portugal Ramos, Lusovini - Vinhos de Portugal, Medeiros, Monte da Capela, Monte do Pintor, Monte dos Cabaços, Monte Novo e Figueirinha, Sogrape - Herdade do Peso, Susana Esteban, Tapada do Fidalgo and Tiago Cabaço Winery.
The major tastings are held on the following dates and locations: September 11, Recife (Transamérica Beach Class International); September 14, Rio de Janeiro (Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort); September 19, Curitiba (Pestana Curitiba Hotel); September 21, São Paulo (Unibes Cultural).

Trade and Media will have free admission and preferential visiting hours, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; wine lovers will be able to participate in the tastings from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with an entrance fee of R $ 30.00, paid locally and including a glass fortasting.
This year, in São Paulo, there is a novelty for consumers, "Happy Hour Enogastronômica". Trade and Media will have, as usual, free access to the tasting, from 15h to 17h. From 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (extended time), and wine lovers can participate in a gastronomic event, with wine for sale by glass or bottles at special prices, snacks in bars and lots of entertainment. The entrance has the value of R $ 30, with offer of glass for tasting, and payment of consumptions made on the spot.
In each city of the great tastings, the wine critic Alexandre Lalas is also promoted by the Brazilian wine critic. "Antão Vaz & Arinto: A Couple to Respect", "Elegância ao Alentejana", "Welcome Immigrants" and "The importance of Aragonez" will be themes.
