Wines of Alentejo return to Zurich

On July 12th, the Wines of Alentejo are returning to Switzerland. Zurich, a strategic city for Portuguese wines, receives a grand tasting and a masterclass that promises to present well-known references of the Alentejo region.

This initiative is organized by the Alentejo Regional Wine Commission (CVRA) and will take place at the FIFA World Football Museum.

The Grand Tasting will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the presence of 12 producers: Adega Mayor, Anta de Cima - Argilla Wines, Adega Cooperativa de Vidigueira, Encostas de Alqueva, Enoforum - Carmim Group, Herdade do Esporão, Herdade da Mingorra, Herdade dos Grous, Lusovini, Monte do Álamo, Reynolds Wine Growers and Susana Esteban. Professionals and wine lovers will be able to taste and enjoy a diversified showcase of excellence labels.

"Two centuries and five decades of Alentejo wines" is the theme of the Masterclass that will be held from 11am to 12:30 pm, led by Thomas Vaterlaus, journalist and Swiss wine critic. Vidigueira Antão Vaz white 2016, Reguengos White Reserve 2016, Sericaia Tapada do Coronel White 2015, Esporão White Reserve 2016, Vinha da Guiça White Reserve 2014, Granja Amarejela Vinhas Velhas Red 2015, Aventura Red 2015, Talha de Argilla Red Reserve 2014, Reserva do Comendador red 2013, Mingorra Black red 2013, Gloria Reynolds Cathedral red 2004, Quinta do Carmo Garrafeira red 1986, Borba Reserva red 1970 and Mouchão red 1963 are the 15 wines that lead the session.
