“Alentejo no Porto” aims to make known the terroir and characteristics of Alentejo wines, unique by nature.

On December 3rd and 4th, Alentejo Wines head to the North of the country to taste the unique characteristics of the region's nectars.

Taking place in an authentic “Alentejan village”, the event “Alentejo no Porto” will take place at WOW – World of Wine (Rua do Choupelo, 39, 4400-088, Vila Nova de Gaia), with free entry and joins whites, reds and rosé wines and around twenty producers in the region. On the first day of the event, Friday, December 3, the doors open at 5 pm and wine tastings, which involve the purchase of a reusable glass worth €10, can take place until 11 pm

On Saturday, December 4, “Alentejo no Porto” starts at 2:30 pm and lasts until 8:30 pm. Later, the suggestion goes through dinner at the WOW restaurants, where the menus will have Alentejo wine suggestions and combine the best typical flavors of the region. “Alentejo no Porto” is the responsibility of the Alentejo Regional Wine Commission (CVRA) and intends to increase the notoriety of the region's nectars at the national level, with particular emphasis on the North of Portugal.
