The cultural bridge between the lush Alentejo wine landscape and the colors of Rio's gastronomy is formed. The Wines of Alentejo event in the Downtown will bring 14 major producers and about 100 labels from Portugal's largest wine region to the central square of the open-air mall, in Barra da Tijuca, on September 13 and 14, Friday, at 4 pm at midnight; and Saturday from noon to midnight.
 
There will be two days of party with shows, chats, lectures and free admission, where the public can enjoy the soul of Wines of Alentejo, in glasses or bottles at promotional prices, and harmonize them with the dishes and snacks of some of the best bars. and city restaurants, including Portuguese delights. Purchasing the event cup for $20 will entitle you to a free first tasting of your choice.
 
To the delight of the ears, singer and songwriter Pedro Miranda, one of the biggest names in samba and the new generation of MPB, will perform the main show on Saturday. Carioca Rafael Garcia, singer who investigates the relationship between the songs of Brazil and Portugal, will play both days of the event. The entire public area, stage and exhibitors will be covered, ensuring protection in case of rain.
 
Wines of Alentejo in Downtown is an organization of Essência do Vinho and Revista de Vinhos, with the support of the Alentejo Regional Winegrowing Commission (CVRA), in partnership with Shopping Downtown and curated by journalists Alexandre Lalas, Juarez Becoza and Pedro Landim .
