On the second day, the
Solutions For The Wine Industry conference allowed the wine industry to unite and discuss solutions for climate change.
The conference cycle is especially dedicated to the relationship between the Wine sector and climate change, both in its influence and in its impacts.
In this context, the coordinator of the
Wines of Alentejo Sustainability Program, João Luís Barroso, was invited to moderate the session "Sustainability, Biodiversity & Soil Management" and took the opportunity to present this unique project in Portugal to the world's fine flower sector of wine.
João Luís Barroso was the moderator of the 9th session of the event, which included Olga Barbosa (CL), Heinrich Schloms (SA), Gérard Bertrand (FR) as speakers, focused on the approach to choosing where to establish and how to structure a vineyard affects your health, the resulting wines and therefore has the consequences in your business.

Climate Change Leadership - Solutions for the Wine Industry, an event dedicated to the discussion of measures to respond to climate change, especially those related to the wine industry. After Barack Obama inaugurated the Porto Summit in July last year, the 2019 edition features Al Gore, the 45th vice president of the United States, as the keynote speaker.
