In 2004, the Adega do Monte Branco project was born. The bases are simple: Portuguese grape varieties, authentic wines and respect for nature.
The most important part of our work is in the vineyards. At Adega do Monte Branco, we try to return every day to the authenticity of what defines our vision of the Alentejo: purity of the soils, authenticity of the grape varieties, making continuous progress to sustainability.
Located in the city of Estremoz at an altitude of 400 metres. This is an Alentejo with very unique conditions: diverse soils and more moderate temperatures, which create an individual microclimate.
The soils of our 26 hectares of vineyards determine the profile of our wines.
The most used grape varieties are: Aragonez; Trincadeira; Alicante Bouschet; Touriga Nacional; Sousão; Castelão; Tinta Miúda; Roupeiro; Arinto; Antão Vaz; Esgana Cão; Rabigato; Galego Dourado.
