Once upon a time, in a land of golden plains the sun kiss, where vineyards adorn the landscape, the soundtrack fund is just the chirping of birds and the sound of cool breeze passing between the old trees, where the early surge all this adventure, it also marked the beginning of a love story.
This story that has as background scenery the Herdade da Azinheira, located in the municipality of Vidigueira. Comprised of 100 hectares and formed of varieties of red grapes and white such as Antao Vaz, Arinto, Alicante Bouschet, Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon, Aragonez among many others.
Is at this property that arises Divine Cepa – Produção de Vinhos, Lda a result of the objectives and ideas of our winemaker and manager Christophe Gameiro, who did their training in oenology in his home country, France, where he had the opportunity to acquire the their knowledge and expertise by reference to land when it comes to wine, from Bordeaux to Burgundy, and a passage for Champagne.
As fate would have if I passed a young Alentejo, Patricia Pires, born in warmer land of Portugal, and in love with the strong contrasts of nature that is artistically. Here comes a love story of two young people, enabling personal and professional development of both, where a winemaker and an artist have become the complement one another and with this came the evolution marked by this shoot Brind´Art, mark that includes a new range of products, with a different image, innovative and a new concept.
Wine production has followed the evolution of Herdade da Azinheira, as previous generations have produced the reds, "Terras do Almirante and Passos de Selmes, and the traditional Wine of the hoist that today is part of the production.
The label of the first wine, called O Caminho, are the result of painting screen by artist Patricia Pires, and all the other screens that will be launched, they will be also the result of works by other artists.
Right now the company is in development and broader projects. The production is not the only objective.
