Monte do Álamo
Monte do Álamo is located in São Miguel de Machede, on one of the most beautiful plains between Évora and Evoramonte. This estate comprises 1,000 hectares of land that have been farmed by the Noronha Mendes de Almeida family for more than 30 years.
Monte do Álamo embraced grape growing in 2001, in an effort to take advantage of one of the products that brings most recognition to the region. Soil and climate conditions were perfect for a family business interested in expansion.
The red wine Etc. was released in 2006 and the white Etc. in 2007, representing the realisation of a dream of a family enterprise that has always believed in the potential and the growth of the wine sector in Portugal.
