Terrenus Veritae is a small winery set up in 2009, in Alegrete, in the Upper Alentejo.
Our first harvest was in 2008 with grapes coming from a vineyard located in Besteiros, within the São Mamede Natural Park. This was a mature vineyard, with vines planted in schistose soils, at altitudes between 500 to 600 metres.
Grapes are hand-harvested and winemaking adheres to the highest quality standards, under the guidance of a senior winemaker. We produce both red and white wines, with a current production of around 45,000 bottles.
Our Folha do Meio (“Middle Leaf”) wines are named after the vineyard plot where the grapes come from. Folha do Meio is a PGI Vinho Regional Alentejano wine.
