Grape Varieties: Old Vines (Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira, Aragonez, Castelão,etc...)

Vinification: After selecting the best grapes from the old vines of our associates, we proceed to the manual harvesting of what will be the raw material for this wine. Arrivals to the cellar are discharged and immediately partially destemmed and crushed, followed by alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stone «lagares» with foot steps.
Ageing: To preserve all the Terroir and characteristics of this wine, no ageing has been made in oak barrels.


Tasting notes

Color: Wine of crystalline appearance, deep garnet color.
Aroma: Aroma of ripe black fruits, compote, jelly integrated with spicy notes.
Palate: Concentrated, structured, complex and intense,with good acidity in an exuberant set with excellent persistence.

Consumption: Consume over the next 5 to 7 years. It should be consumed at 16ºC-18ºC.
Gastronomy: It accompanies with dishes of red meat, game, pâtés, sausages and curing cheeses.
