Viticulture and Winemaking: Highly selective handpicking in 20kg boxes and carried to the winery in cooled vehicle. Atipical vinification for the Alentejo. Natural and spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Cuvaison of over 20 days. Bottled without filtration.
Ageing: 14 months in new barrels: 70% French Oak, fine grain medium toasted and 30% American Oak medium grain, average + toasted.
Alcohol: 15% v/v
Production: 13.000 Bottles
Colour: Deep concentrated violet colour.
Aroma: Exuberant nose with warm minty tones, finishing with a hint of roasted almonds from the barrels. Full-mouthed, round and hot, packed with aromas.
Palate: Firm structure and good persistence
Storage: Preserve at 16-18 ºC.
Service: Serve at 18ºC to be drunk at 20ºC.
Food Pairing: Red meats and game. Avoid spicy foods.
