Harvest 2016: 2016 vintage was marked by atypical weather. A warm and dry winter preceded a cold, wet spring. Summer was hot and dry, allowing for undisturbed ripening.
Vinification: A blend of local and international varieties from our cool Alentejan Atlantic coastal vineyards (Verdelho, Sauvignon Blanc) and interior (Antão Vaz, Viognier). Harvested during the cool hours of the early morning, the grapes were destemmed and pressed, followed by settling at low temperatures for 24 hours. Fermented at controlled temperatures in tanks for 15 days and matured on fine lees, with regular stirring. Fined, filtered and bottled to maintain its clean, crisp flavours.
Tasting Notes
Lively citric fruit aromas of grapefruit and lime. A vibrant palate, crisp with a tight acidity, to a persistent finish.
