THE WINE
Experience tells us that each year is different and that every grape has a different behavior according to that year’s weather. I always try to harvest at the perfect maturation time.
 
2019’s harvest arrives mid August, a warm summer that antecipated harvest where even though the alcohol potential was high the acidity stood firm.
 
Because I’m able to do different fermentations, with different grapes and techniques, it’s easier to do blends but it’s also better when there is a special wine in there because it means I can always give it a solo.
 
Arinto 2019 is one of those wines that improved with time, a robust wine with complexity and yet super fresh due to its high acidity. It’s a wine for the table and that goes along with everything. Rare are the times that we are fascinated by a wine like this, that provokes us telling us that it is unique and deserving of a solo role.

Vibrant and complex, incisive, sober and a little austere. Beautiful toast. Strong mouth structure, light body but with volume and quality mouth filling. Well pronounced acidity, juicy, perfectly balanced. Long finish, rich and with pronounced minerality. 300 bottle edition you must know!
