Grape Varieties: Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Cabernet Sauvignon
Vinification Process: The fermentation occurred in a stainless still vat with controlled temperature. It was then left in cuvaison for 20 days, after which it was gently pressed.
Wine Aging: The wine was aged in new French oak (Allier) for 18 months. After a light filtraton it was bottle and left to age another 18 months before it was marketed.
Aroma: It's a well balanced wine full of complexity. On the npose, it has an intense spicy aroma, especially of cinnamon. It has strong notes of ripe fruitr and tobacco.
Palate: On the palate plums and pears in syrup combine with soft, but present, tannins which give it a lingering finish. It will age well.
