Certified Organic Vineyard. At 500m distance, the dam of Montargil as a great influence in the microclimate, increasing humidity and lowering the temperatures.
Style
ENSAIO means test or trial. With this wines we pretend to show the best of our terroir and our grape varieties, testing them in different winemaking technics and different aproches.
Winemaking
The clusters were hand-harvested and carefully sorted at the winery. All grapes were destemmed without crushing. Wild fermentation took place in stainless steel vats, with controlled temperature and very low intervention. Aging took place in stainless steel vats.
Flavour / Profile
This way of working with the grape Trincadeira made possible to create a wine low in alcohol and tannins, light bodied, pale color and good acidity. The aroma has fresh red fruits and dried tobacco leaves.

Sardines, codfish, grilled meats, pasta and pizza, vegan dishes or just by the glass.
