Certified Organic Vineyard. At 500m distance, the dam of Montargil as a great influence in the microclimate, increasing humidity and lowering the temperatures.
Style
A tribute to Maria Antonieta, mother and grandmother. Made with Touriga Nacional from a small plot with river rock pebble soil, expresses all the character and finess of this grape variety.
Winemaking
The grapes were hand-harvested, gently destemmed and crushed after being sorted at the winery. Fermentation took place in stainless-steel open top tanks with controlled temperature. Aged for 23 months in used french oak barrels.
Flavour / Profile
Ripe red fruit, plum, sour cherry and licorice. A silky and dense texture. A firm but very elegant tannic structure to ensure long and elegante finish.
Food Pairing
Red meat (stews, roasts), game, cheese and cured meat. Best if previously decanted.
