Grape Varieties: Trincadeira (40%) – Alicante Bouschet (40%) – Aragonez (20%)
Vinification: The grapes from the harvest of our associates are unloaded and immediately stripped and crushed. With the addition of selected yeasts, fermentation begins at a controlled temperature (25° C). During this period it is made maceration or tanning, the timer reassembly process. The hard tanning the whole period of fermentation, about 15 days.
Aging: After fermentation the wines are subjected to regular tests, being the best properly identified, separated and matured for 4 months in french and american oak.
Tasting notes
Color: Wine of crystalline aspect and garnet color.
Aroma: With aromas of wild berries, chocolate and coffee.
Palate: In the mouth it is soft and full bodied, with soft tannis and a good finish.
Consumption: The bottles should be laid down in a cold place (around 12ºC). This wine should be consumed young but, if you prefer, you can let it age for 4 to 5 years. It should be consumed at a temperature of 16º C-18º C.
Gastronomy: It goes very well with grilled or roasted meat dishes, game dishes, pates and cheeses.
