Grape Varieties: Alicante Bouschet (65%) - Touriga Nacional (20%) – Tinta Caiada (15%)

Vinification: The grapes from the manual harvest of our associates are unloaded and immediately stripped and crushed. With the addition of selected yeast fermentation takes place at 25° C, using pumping-over and daily delestage ending maceration after 15 days. This wine ages from eight to eighteen months in new and used barrels of French and American oak. After ageing, the wine is bottled and laid down for at least a year, only then it is released to the market.
Aging: The wine aged in barrels of french and american oak for 14 months.
 

Tasting notes

Color: Crystalline wine and dark garnet color.
Aroma: Aroma evolved to spices and plum jam.
Palate: Full bodied, with soft tannins and long finish. It is distinguished by the elegance and harmony associated with the robustness of a great wine.

Consumption: This wine can be drunk immediately or you can let it age for 5-8 years. It should be drunk at 16º C.
Gastronomy: It goes very well with game dishes, red meats and cheeses.
