Grape Varieties: Alicante Bouschet (50%) - Aragonez (30%) - Trincadeira (20%)
Vinification: The grapes from our associates' manual harvest are unloaded and immediately destemmed and crushed. With the addition of selected yeasts the fermentation takes place at 25ºC, using daily reassembly and delestages, ending the maceration after 15 days.
Aging: The wine ages in French and American oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting Notes
Color: Dense wine, dark and deep color.
Aroma: With notes of black fruit, spices (coffee and vanilla).
Taste: Finishes long, evolving over the course.
Consumption: This wine can be consumed immediately or, if you prefer, you can let it age for 6 to 8 years. It should be consumed at 16ºC.
Gastronomy: It goes well with game, red meat and cured or half-ripened cheeses.
