Grape Varieties: Alicante Bouschet (50%) - Aragonez (30%) - Trincadeira (20%).
Vinification: Grapes from our associates' manual harvest are unloaded and immediately destemmed and crushed. With the addition of selected yeasts, fermentation begins at a controlled temperature (28ºC). During this period maceration or tanning is done for 15 days.
Aging: The wine aged partially in deposits for 1 to 2 years, and the remaining aged in Portuguese and French oak barrels for 12 months.
Color: Wine of crystalline aspect, deep garnet color.
Aroma: Ripe black fruit and spice aroma.
Palate: With soft tannins that give it a pleasant and persistent finish.
Consumption: This wine can be consumed immediately, or if you prefer, you can let it age for 6 to 8 years. It should be consumed at 16ºC.
Gastronomy: It goes well with lamb stew, migas and other Alentejo pork and cured or half-cured cheeses.
