Grape varieties: Trincadeira, Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon
Vinification: Grape varieties are separately vinified. Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon are fermeted in steel vats (lagares), with mechanical trading, at a controlled temperature of 25 ºC. Aragonez is fermented in horizontal deposits (Vinimatics).
Ageing: 6 months in French and American oak barrels
Production: 200.000 bottles
Longevity: 4 to 6 years
Taste: Dark red wine, with notes of plum, wild fruit and spices. Soft in the mouth, with a notorious, elegant structure and persistent finish
How to serve: Between 16 and 18ºC, with roast beef of “Mertolenga” cattle and mustard sauce or stewed will boar.
